Tired of eating food that is full of pesticides and other chemicals. These so called foods are are poisining you, your children, your parents and your pets. People think that just because the food you are buying is a vegetable that it is healthy and good for you. This is not the case however. Vegetables that are grown in mass production and through non-organic farming are lacking trace elements. It has BEEN PROVEN that from modern farming and over farming land, these trace elements are missing from the foods we eat. This leaves us unhealthy, craving more food and getting fatter from the little bits of food that we do eat.

Time for change.. time to grow your own food. Our great grand parents and even grand parents did it. So why don’t we? Mostly… because people are lazy in this age. They want it now. They want it done for them. This is a big issues in the world today and one that needs to be fixed or your health will suffer.

If you care about your health and your childrends future health, then starting an organic garden is a smart and easy thing to do. Kids love playing in the dirt, so getting them to get their hands dirty and help out is not a hard thing to do. The fresh air they get from being outside is a big plus and it teaches our children to be patient and reap reward from hard effort. I am not saying organic gardening is hard, because it’s not.

The best part today is that with technology that organic gardening doesn’t have to end with the summer season. There are many great ways to take your garden indoors with you over the winter months. This allows you to keep farming organic food at pennies compared to what you pay in grocery stores. The health beneifits are amazing as you well know when it’s fresh, clean, orgarnic food. I can tell you, I enjoy a meal so much more when I have grown the food and know it is clean and organic.

Where I live in Northern Ontario, there is a local store that is helping families due just that. Dutchman Hydroponics Store in Barrie, Ontario is teaching families how to grow organic food for their families indoors all year round.

Even if you don’t want to grow indoors all year to take advantage of the summer sun. It is great being able to grow fresh organic food indoors during the fall and winter months.

One thing I do want to bring up is, even through it is organic and better than non-orgarnic foods. It is still missing many important trace elements from the earth that support your health. So look into learning how to supply your gardens with the missing trace elements and live a much healthier life. Dutchman Hydroponics has a wonderufl organic section that has a variety of indoor gardening supplies including nutrients and additives that supply the missing trace elements you need for health. Be sure to check them out online at www.dutchmanhydroponics.com and if you are ever in the Barrie area, check them out.

With Christmas just around the corner and products lining the shelves make sure to read the labels and question the products you buy, especially when they are labeled as Organic.

Over the years I have learned that just because it says Organic, does not in fact mean it is. Many companies have and still are trying to jump on the money train called Organic.

Many companies say Organic when in fact only a few ingredients are organic. This is true with many food products and beauty products such as creams and bath oils.

I have even come across products with toxic chemicals in them that are still labeled organic because they do contains few organic ingredients.

So my advice to you is to check labels and read the ingredients. If you do not know what it is, then don’t risk it, don’t buy it.
