People are consuming these products without thought like Mindless idiots. Is it there fault? Partly yes.. and partly no. I personally always read the ingredients and if I am unsure what it is, I put it back. My health and my children’s health is more important to me than a tasty treat that will kill you later.

I do not trust the FDA even though they are not our governing body in Canada. I would not trust them if I was American either. There is to much proof that the FDA is corrupt company created for the wealth of mega companies to control markets and trick people into believing things are safe and good for them.

That being said the Health Canada seems to rather stupidly accept what the FDA says as the truth. Something I hope will come to an end and that Canadians will voice their opinion on. We are not American and do not believe the influence of the FDA should cross our border.
The FDA is not a real company but a company created and paid off to do bad things so that companies like Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble and others can do what they want to people and control the markets. Another company to be careful of is Nestle. They own hundreds of other brands you may not be aware of and are eating. Dr Oetker, Michelinas are two off the top of my head.

Back to Chewing Gum though and is it safe.
The answer you will get really depends on who you ask. If you ask a rep for the company that uses these products the definitive answer will be YES! If you ask people on the health side of things or that have had their health compromised from these ingredients, the answer will be NO. Who you believe is up to you, but I tend to believe the people who are not selling me the product.

We all know that Aspartame is not safe. It is downright dangerous for us and causes many many health problems. Some you may not see for years to come. Others can appear overnight.

Sucralose the 2nd artificial sweetener is also not a healthy or smart choice. For those of you that do not know Sucralose is produced by chlorinating sugar (sucrose). This involves chemically changing the structure of the sugar molecules by substituting three chlorine atoms for three hydroxyl groups. (adding chlorine.. do you think it is safe still??)

Sucralose is not yet approved for use in most European countries, where it is still under review. This is where Health Care is the best in the world and free. They do not want the burden of health issues that come with its use and that is why it is not approved there.

I personally would have read the first ingredient (sweetener) as Aspartame and put it back. I would not have had to keep reading but for those of you that do and got to Sucralose. I hope this has shed some light on what it is exactly and how it is not healthy for you and downright dangerous to your children and your health. My advice is if you want to live a long healthy life and not die before your kids or struggle with your health you do not eat these mad made sugars. Go for products with natural sugars which have been used for thousands of years! White sugar is better but not great, but still better than artificial sweeteners. I personally go for Raw sugar if possible or sugars like Fructose (fruit sugar), Dextrose or Xylital.

The 3rd man made sweetener on the list is Acesulfame-K. Another one you should avoid.
Acesulfame-K is an artificial sweetener that’s about 200 times sweeter than sugar. It’s used in baked goods, chewing gum, gelatin desserts and soft drinks. Studies have found that this substance may cause cancer, and other studies to reliably prove this additive’s safety have not been conducted. Acesulfame-K also breaks down into acetoacetamide, which has been found to affect the thyroid in rats, rabbits and dogs.

If you do some searches on Yahoo and other Search engines I am sure you can find tons more of info regarding the toxicity of artificial sweeteners and how they affect your health.

My advice is the next time you pick up a pack of gum to put it back if it reads one of those ingredients. Email or call the company and let them know you want natural sugar back.

Natural sugar is not the cause of health problems, diabetes etc. Artificial sweeteners are along with over eating bad chemical filled products.

In all my years growing up I never knew anyone with diabetes till the last 15 years. Now I can name of 10 people and these people eat artificial sweeteners, drink diet pops and do not watch what they eat.

Knowing what you eat is important. Not just what it is called or the brand name but the ingredients. Do your self and children a favour and read the ingredients on the products you by and make your opinion heard to store managers and the companies that make these products.

Over the years I have learned that just because it says Organic, does not in fact mean it is. Many companies have and still are trying to jump on the money train called Organic.

Many companies say Organic when in fact only a few ingredients are organic. This is true with many food products and beauty products such as creams and bath oils.

I have even come across products with toxic chemicals in them that are still labeled organic because they do contains few organic ingredients.

So my advice to you is to check labels and read the ingredients. If you do not know what it is, then don’t risk it, don’t buy it.

I know what I think with scientific evidence to back it. Let us know what you think. Share your opionion and evidence whether it is safe or not.

You can’t fix one broken system by replacing it with another broken system. Sure, the current health care system of “that’s a pre-existing condition” insurance companies, employer-funded health insurance and miserable Medicaid is a public health disaster, but if we’re going to fix the system, we have to come up with something that actually addresses the root cause of disease in America.

The current health care reform debate in Washington is really just a distraction — a ploy to keep everyone focused on all the wrong topics while quietly refusing to talk about the big issues that threaten the health of an entire nation.

Although I am not American. I have family in the United States and would like to see the country in a better state than it is in. America is not the land of the free or the dreamland of opportunity it once was. It is more like a concentration camp. People are afraid. Living is not free. You cannot retire for fear of getting sick and not having medical coverage. The rich are in control..  its like the 1700 and 1800’s all over… but on a larger and much worse scale.

It is time for people to stand up and say now. THE PEOPLE ARE THE COUNTRY. Not the rich!

My 2nd issue with this product is the fact they are using Sucralose in it. Sucralose also known by the brand name as Splenda is a chemical (man-made) replacement for sugar. Part of the diet fad that actually makes you retain weight and can do terrible things to your body and react with other medicines when taken together or months apart. Sucralose is a horrible thing to be given children and adults should not use it themselves.

Chemical sweeteners (like Splenda) and the sweetener blends (aspartame, sucralose and acesulfame K blended together in one product) may be causing users to show signs of weight gain, disruption of sleep patterns, sexual dysfunction, increases in cancer, MS, Lupus, diabetes, and a list of epidemic degenerative diseases. The corporations continue to stand tough in their denial of any connection to chemical sweetener additives.

My suggestion to you is to not use any product with these chemicals in them. The best way is the natural way. Take a minute to monitor your childs dental hygeine in the bathroom, save a few dollars at the store and watch your child have a healthier more hygenic life from what you taught them. Using all these tools are teaching children to rely on things to know how to do things. What happens if they do not exist anymore. People will be stupid.

I raise my kids as my great grandparents were raised in a sense. If its not natural we do not eat it. If its a man made chemical, we do not consume it or put it on our skin. Everything we need is made in nature, and our bodies cannot process these man made chemicals. Cancer is on the rise because of man. Cancer is mans disease. It can be stopped, it can be cured.. but that is another topic.

Do not give your children products with Asparatame, Sucralose or other chemical sweeteners. Give your child the gift of health instead and teach him to brush through example.

So as I do not have the answer… I would rather pass the info around so we can all be aware atleast of the possibility of things and watch our cities and take notice of any wide spread illness happening, sun being blocked out, droughts and more after these con trails appear in our area.

If the government and military are spraying only 30 kilometres away from me for so called Mosquitos… what makes you think they are not doing much more than that?

The Government is a business…  the Military is a business run by the Government and their investors.

‘Chemtrails’ is the term widely used to describe the brilliant white plumes laid down by U.S. Air Force tanker planes photo-identified over North America and a dozen other allied nations. Unlike normal condensation trails – which form when hot engine exhaust momentarily condenses in the frigid stratosphere like exhaled breath on a cold day – chemical trails linger for hours, turning clear skies into milky haze in a process the U.S. Air Force calls ‘aerial obscuration’

Chemtrail Ban Sought In Congress

‘Chemtrails’ also appear in House Resolution 2977. Introduced last October by Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich, this bill called for the peaceful uses of space, and a ban on ‘exotic weapons’. Section 7 of the ‘Space Preservation Act of 2001′ sought specifically to prohibit ‘chemtrails’.

Kucinich recently told the Columbus Alive newspaper (Jan. 24, 2002) that despite official denials, as head of the Armed Services oversight committee he is well acquainted with chemtrail projects. ‘The truth is there’s an entire program in the Department of Defense, ‘Vision for 2020,’ that’s developing these weapons,’ Kucinich told reporter Bob Fitrakis. The U.S. Space Command’s 2020 vision calls for ‘dominance’ of space, land, sea and air.

The unusual white plumes reported by Air Canada pilots, police officers and former military personnel over Canada and the U.S. during the past three years are often contrasted by brief, pencil-thin contrails left by commercial jets flying above them.

Contrails form when water vapor clumps around dirt particles acting as nuclei. According to NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, contrails can only form at temperatures below minus 76 degrees, and humidity levels of 70 percent or more. Even in ideal conditions, contrails rarely last more than 20 minutes.

But atmospheric studies by NASA and NOAA – including TARFOX, ACE-Asia, ACE-I and II, INDOEX and Project SUCCESS – confirm that artificial clouds and contrails can be manufactured under conditions of low humidity by dispensing particles from aircraft. The smaller the size of the nuclei introduced into the atmosphere, the greater the rate of artificial cloud formation.

Canadians Petition Parliament
Canadians were the first to complain about chemtrails to their federal government. On Nov. 18, 1999, NDP Defense critic Gordon Earl petitioned Parliament on behalf of 550 residents of Espanola, Ontario to ‘repeal any law that would permit the dispersal of military chaff or of any cloud-seeding substance whatsoever by domestic or foreign military aircraft without the informed consent of the citizens of Canada thus affected.’

According to CBC Newsworld (Aug 29, 1999), ‘Many in the community have reported respiratory problems and strange aches and pains. Town council heard that some believe military jets are dropping material over the town as part of a weather experiment’ – after laboratory tests confirmed the presence of aluminum in rainwater falling through chemtrails over Espanola five-times higher than provincial health safety limits.

The Ministry of Defense eventually replied, ‘It’s not us.’

Studies Prove Chemtrails Cannot Be Contrails

The ‘airliner’ argument collapsed along with the Twin Towers, when heavy chemtrails were reported over Vancouver Island and widely separated U.S. cities despite the grounding of all commercial flights last Sept. 11, 12 and 13.

Photographs of heavy aerial gridding over Santa Fe, New Mexico and B.C.’s Sunshine Coast also contradict official weather data showing high altitude humidity at the same times and locations to be less than one third the moisture needed for contrails to form.

In Houston, Texas, Mark Steadham conducted a 62 day survey of jet traffic over that busy hub. Using a computer program called Flight Explorer, Steadham identified commercial and military aircraft sharing the same sky. The contrails from commercial jets dissipated within 22 seconds. The plumes left behind at the same time by big military jets persisted for four to eight hours.

Canadian and U.S. Aviation Officials Confirm Chemtrails
The first break in an investigation begun by the Environment News Service in Jan. 1999, came 11 months later when Victoria airport authority Terry Stewart returned a call to a Victoria resident concerned about the X’s and grid patterns being laid over the B.C. capitol. ‘It’s a military exercise, a U.S. and Canada air force exercise that’s going on,’ Stewart reported on Dec. 8, 2000. ‘They wouldn’t give me any specifics on it.’

The ’specifics’ came in March the following year, when Maine radio reporter S. T. Brendt called a senior Air Traffic Control manager after she, her news director and staff counted 370 plumes filling skies normally devoid of commercial aircraft. During his hitch in U.S. Navy Intelligence, Brendt’s husband had never seen an aerial armada this big. ‘It looked like an invasion,’ Lou Aubuchont said.

The FAA manager told Brendt he had been ordered to redirect incoming commercial flights around ‘military exercises’ on several occasions that month. In follow-up interviews at the WMWV studios, the government official confirmed widespread chemtrail activity. As they flew north into Canada, he said, the planes were spraying a substance that showed up as a ‘haze’ on Air Traffic Control radar screens.

This characteristic signature of radar beams reflecting off fine aluminum particles confirmed the Espanola lab tests. It also matched a patent issued to Hughes Aircraft Corp. in 1994. This practical blueprint described spraying reflective aluminum particles into Earth’s greenhouse atmosphere, ‘For the Reduction of Global Warming’.

Computer simulations at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory showed that spraying 10 million tons of aluminum oxide into the upper atmosphere would reflect between one and two percent of incoming sunlight. The predictions promised no net warming over 85 percent of the earth surface, despite a predicted doubling of CO2 within the next 50 years.

The biggest lobby pushing for a reduction in global warming are insurance companies bigger than Big Oil and the international trade in arms. Multinationals such as the Swiss Reinsurance Company and Lloyd’s of London report unsustainable losses incurred by Extreme Weather Events caused by a rapidly warming planet. It is feared that if they go bankrupt, so will the money markets and banks that back them.

Andrew Dlugolecki – director of one of the world’s six biggest insurance groups, CGNU – warned the Hague two years ago that unless action is taken to curb global warming, the resulting damage will exceed the dollar value of all the world’s resources by 2065. ‘Already we’re beginning to run out of money in the insurance industry,’ Dlugolecki declared.

It was Edward Teller, father of the H-bomb, who called for spraying a chemical ’sunscreen’ at a 1998 International Seminar on Planetary Emergencies. Besides disturbing regional weather patterns, Teller’s chief climate modeler, Ken Caldeira worries about negative health effects. The atmospheric scientist who crunched the numbers on Teller’s ’sky shield’ further warns such a project could, ‘destroy the ozone layer’. Caldeira believes the U.S. government will publicly admit to chemtrails this spring.

Health Hazard
Scientists say aluminum oxide as inert as sand poses no toxic threat. But after examining more than 3,000 health studies published since 1997, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency confirmed a strong link between tiny particulates and thousands of premature deaths each year.

According to a New York Times feature, ‘Tiny Bits of Soot Tied to Illnesses’ (April 21, 2001), numerous health studies show that ‘microscopic motes – composed of metals, carbon and other ingredients – are able to infiltrate the tiniest compartments in the lungs and pass readily into the bloodstream and have been most strongly tied to illness and early death, particularly in people who are already susceptible to respiratory problems.’

In a report headlined, ‘Tiny particles can kill’ New Scientist (Aug. 5, 2000) reported a Harvard ‘Six Cities’ study, which ‘identified particles with a diameter of less than 10 microns as threat to public health.’

Although I don’t watch much TV I am surprised and very upset by how many Pharma Ads I see each day. It seems their is a pill for everything now days… Happy, sad, fat, skinny, old, young tired, awake. I have a pill for you! I don’t know about you, but I am really tired of listening and seeing this crap. People need to wake u and realize that these man made drugs all have side effects that land you on another pill and that pill requires you to take another pill and in the end. You lose and THEY WIN!

You have to wonder though what kind of person would actually call or ask a doctor for these pills. Here are just some of the listed side effects of one of these drugs.

Don’t drive or operate machinery. Sleepwalking, and eating or driving while not fully awake, with amnesia for the event, as well as behaviors such as being more outgoing or aggressive than normal, confusion, agitation, and hallucinations have been reported. In patients with depression, worsening of depression, including risk of suicidal thoughts or actions may occur.  In rare cases sleep aids may cause allergic reactions such as swelling of your tongue or throat or shortness of breath or more severe results (on the commercial they said DEATH!). Side effects may include next-day drowsiness, dizziness, and headache. The most  side effects are drowsiness, dizziness, and diarrhea. Has some risk of dependency.

Time to walk up people. Don’t give these companies your hard earned money. Health is found in proper diet and exercise.

Can’t sleep… don’t drink coffee or eat 3hrs before bed! Fat.. get up and walk and eat right.
Pills are not a cure.. pills are not the solution. Re-education is..  don’t believe everything you read. Don’t believe this.. research and find the facts. Just because somebody says something, does not mean it is true.

Your pediatrician is about to give your daughter a Gardasil vaccination – designed to prevent human papillomavirus (HPV), one of the causes of cervical cancer.

But before he does, he turns to you and says, “I should mention that thousands of CDC adverse event reports, which include paralysis and seizures, have been made in connection with this vaccine. Some of the girls receiving the vaccine required hospitalization. At least seven young women died suddenly shortly after receiving the vaccine, although in some cases the exact cause of death hasn’t been determined.

“So should we go ahead with it?”

Many parents would stop it right there, while others would have no qualms about going ahead with the shot.

But they might have second thoughts if their doctor kept up the conversation

Talkin’ the talk

At this point a parent might say, “Well, it’s mandated by the state, so we have to.”

(New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Virginia require the vaccine for all girls entering the sixth grade. Similar legislation is pending in other states.)

Doctor: No, you can easily opt out. In this case “mandatory,” isn’t really mandatory.

Parent: Right, but the state wouldn’t well, let’s say, “strongly encourage” the vaccine for all girls if it didn’t prevent cervical cancer.

Doctor: Actually, the vaccine prevents HPV, which is just one of the causes of cervical cancer. The best way to decrease your daughter’s risk of invasive cervical cancer is to teach her to be disciplined about getting regular gynecological exams.

(According to the American Cancer Society, when pap tests detect early cervical cancer, survival rate is more than 90 percent.)

Parent: So you’re telling me that the state makes it SEEM like this expensive vaccine is mandatory, and yet getting vaccinated doesn’t guarantee that my daughter will avoid cervical cancer?

Doctor: That’s right.

Parent: And what are those adverse side effects again?

A recent report from Judicial Watch (a public interest group that promotes government accountability) leads off with this quote from Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton: “The FDA adverse event reports on the HPV vaccine read like a catalog of horrors. Any state or local government now beset by Merck’s lobbying campaigns to mandate this HPV vaccine for young girls ought to take a look at these adverse health reports.”

If those state and local governments follow Mr. Fitton’s advice, they’ll have quite a bit of reading to do.

Less than one year after the FDA approved Merck’s Gardasil in June 2006, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request and received more than 1,600 reports that were submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System regarding Gardasil. Three months later, Judicial Watch filed another request and found that nearly 200 new reports had been added to the list.

Some of the adverse events that show up frequently in the reports include:

* Dizziness
* Fainting
* Seizures
* Convulsions
* Guillain-Barre Syndrome (a central nervous system disorder in which weakness and tingling sensations in the legs spread to the upper body, sometimes causing paralysis)

Parent: Okay, those are troubling side effects. But given the thousands of young women who have received the vaccine, the chances of experiencing those events are very small. So isn’t the vaccine worth the risk?

And here’s what the doctor is not likely to admit: According to a Journal of the American Medical Association study, less than two percent of all women develop the two types of HPV that are responsible for 70 percent of all cervical cancers. And American Cancer Society guidelines state that 90 percent of adolescent HPV infections are resolved without treatment – the same is true for about 75 percent of HPV infections in adults.

There’s only one problem with this story: It’s not fiction. Or, at least, the part about live avian flu viruses being inserted into vaccine materials isn’t fiction. It’s happening right now.

Deerfield, Illinois-based pharmaceutical company Baxter International Inc. has been caught shipping live avian flu viruses mixed with vaccine material to medical distributors in 18 countries. The “mistake” (if you can call it that, see below…) was discovered by the National Microbiology Laboratory in Canada. The World Health Organization was alerted and panic spread throughout the vaccine community as health experts asked the obvious question: How could this have happened?

“Baxter International Inc. in Austria ‘unintentionally contaminated samples with the bird flu virus that were used in laboratories in 3 neighbouring countries, raising concern about the potential spread of the deadly disease’. Austria, Germany, Slowenia and the Czech Republic – these are the countries in which labs were hit with dangerous viruses. Not by bioterrorist commandos, but by Baxter. In other words: One of the major global pharmaceutical players seems to have lost control over a virus which is considered by many virologists to be one of the components leading some day to a new pandemic.”

Or, put another way, Baxter is acting a whole lot like a biological terrorism organization these days, sending deadly viral samples around the world. If you mail an envelope full of anthrax to your Senator, you get arrested as a terrorist. So why is Baxter — which mailed samples of a far more deadly viral strain to labs around the world — getting away with saying, essentially, “Oops?”

But there’s a bigger question in all this: How could this company have accidentally mixed LIVE avian flu viruses (both H5N1 and H3N2, the human form) in this vaccine material?

Was the viral contamination intentional?

The shocking answer is that this couldn’t have been an accident. Why? Because Baxter International adheres to something called BSL3 (Biosafety Level 3) — a set of laboratory safety protocols that prevent the cross-contamination of materials.

I guess roughly a year ago we saw our first ad for the HPV Vaccine Gardisil hit the TV. I immediately grew concerned even though I do not have any daughters. Within months of seeing the ads I heard of reports of deaths and side effects related to the vaccine. Still the commercials persisted and then they hit the Canadian channels. Its now been I guess roughly 1.5 years since it hit the market and they are pushing it more and more. So far in the US there have been 11 reported deaths. This is only reported deaths.. just think how many go unreported and how many there have been in other countries. There has also been over 3779 adverse reactions reported. The word here is ADVERSE! Yet its still pushed and they are trying to make these things manditory in some states and countries.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE! Is it truly all about money?

I caution you all who would consider giving this to your daughter. My first thought is that these poor young girls tricked and forced into getting these vaccine shots in the future will not only develop some disease from it but not be able to get pregnant (watch the Children of men).  Below is an article released last year that goes into abit more detail on the subject.

Send an email to the goverment and voice your complaint. Let your cable companies know that you don’t want to see it on there programming or you will cancel your subscription and go elsewhere. Email these companies and tell them enough is enough.

I urge everyone to stand and be heard. We can all change the world if we do only one thing that moves us towards a better government and makes our opinions, voices and the truth known.

Tell your friends… and don’t let anyone you know get any type of vaccine. It is not natural or  needed unless there was a disease outbreak!

WASHINGTON, DC, October 5, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, yesterday released new documents obtained from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, detailing a total of as many as eleven deaths related to Merck’s HPV vaccine Gardasil.  Those deaths resulted between June 8, 2006 – when the vaccine received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) – and August 2007 when the latest data was available.

The adverse reports coming from the HPV vaccine are increasing daily at an alarming rate.  A LifeSiteNews.com report which scanned a publicly available database of adverse affects coming from the HPV vaccine found 3,137 adverse effects reported on September 28, 2007.  Today the U.S. Government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) lists 3,779 adverse effects.  52 of the cases were deemed “life threatening” and 119 required hospitalization.

In one case highlighted by Judicial Watch a 17 year old girl who was vaccinated in June 2007 died the very day she was vaccinated.  According to the report, she “was vaccinated with a first dose of Gardasil…During the evening of the same day, the patient was found unconscious (lifeless) by the mother. Resuscitation was performed by the emergency physician but was unsuccessful.  The patient subsequently died.”

Other serious reported side effects associated with Gardasil include paralysis, Bells Palsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and seizures.  Says one report: “Initial and follow-up information has been received from a physician concerning an “otherwise healthy” 13 year old female who was vaccinated with her first and second doses of Gardasil.  Subsequently, the patient experienced…paralysis from the chest down, lesions of the optic nerve…At the time of the report, the patient had not recovered.”

“In light of this information, it is disturbing that state and local governments might mandate in any way this vaccine for young girls,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.  “These adverse reaction reports suggest the vaccine not only causes serious side effects, but might even be fatal.”

The toll from the HPV vaccine may be greater still.  Judicial Watch filed its request on August 20, 2007, and received the adverse event reports from the FDA on September 13, 2007, in what the agency described as a “partial response.” On October 3, 2007, Judicial Watch filed a new lawsuit against the FDA for its failure to fully respond to Judicial Watch’s FOIA request as required by law.
