Quick Facts on Cancer & Diet (milk & meat)
FACT: In 2008, excess body weight was responsible for over 124,000 new cancer diagnoses in Europe.
Just imagine what that number was in the United States as Europe is a much healthier place when it comes to diet and lifestyle habits.
FACT: Numerous research studies have shown that cancer is much more common in populations consuming diets rich in fatty foods, particularly meat, and much less common in countries eating diets rich in grains, vegetables, and fruits.
FACT: The World Health Organization has determined that dietary factors account for at least 30 percent of all cancers in Western countries and up to 20 percent in developing countries.
FACT: Countries with a higher intake of fat, especially fat from animal products, such as meat and dairy products, have a higher incidence of breast cancer.
How much milk do you drink? No other animal drinks milk after they grow up so why do humans?
